Chief Regulatory Officer
As Chief Regulatory Officer, Dr. Pitts leads the regulatory advisory for Mobile Health Library (MHL) supporting prescription brands. This includes concept review, final review and a compliant package for OPDP submission.
A former member of the United States Senior Executive Service, Peter was FDA’s Associate Commissioner for External Relations, serving as senior communications and policy adviser to the Commissioner. He supervised FDA's Office of Public Affairs, Office of the Ombudsman, Office of Special Health Issues, Office of Executive Secretariat, and Advisory Committee Oversight and Management. He served on the agency’s obesity working group and counterfeit drug taskforce and is a Special Government Employee (SGE) consultant to the FDA’s Risk Communications Advisory Committee.
Specific areas of global policy expertise include FDA policy and process, healthcare technology assessment and reimbursement issues, biosimilar development, Rx-to-OTC switching, risk management plans, GMP policies, pharmacy education programs, drug safety, DTC/ItP, Critical Path, personalized medicine, clinical trial transparency, IP protection, FDA reform, drug importation, counterfeiting, genetically modified food issues, food safety and security, recalls, nutritional labeling.
In 2010, he was named by Modern Healthcare magazine as one of the 300 “most powerful people in American healthcare.” His comments and commentaries on health care policy issues regularly appear in The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, The Financial Times, Health Affairs, The Boston Globe, The Washington Times, The Chicago Tribune, The Chicago Sun Times, The San Francisco Examiner, Investor’s Business Daily, The Baltimore Sun, The Economist, Nature Biotechnology, The Journal of Life Sciences the BBC World Service, Fox News, and The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer, among others.
His book, Become Strategic or Die, is widely recognized as a cutting edge study of how leadership, in order to be successful over the long term, must be combined with strategic vision and ethical practice. He is the editor of Coincidence or Crisis, a discussion of global prescription medicine counterfeiting and Physician Disempowerment: A Transatlantic Malaise.
He serves as a Special Government Employee to the FDA Risk Communications Advisory Committee. He has served as an adjunct professor at Indiana University’s School of Public and Environmental Affairs and Butler University.
Ryan Kraus, CPA

Ryan has dedicated his 20+ year career to serving as a COO, CFO and Strategic Advisor to growing companies. He leverages a rare blend of strategic, operational and financial experience in his role as a valued collaborator with executive teams. He has been responsible for strategic planning, operational execution, financial management and M&A due diligence for numerous firms in a variety of industries.
Ryan has served as CFO of a venture capital-backed software company that was eventually acquired by a Fortune 500 Company. Prior to that role, he served as CFO or Controller to a number of early stage companies and an early stage venture capital firm. His earliest experience was in the assurance divisions of BDO Seidman and KPMG where he served both public and closely held clients.
Ryan is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s OPM program, a 3-year executive program exclusively for owners of firms with annual sales ranging from ten million to several hundred million dollars. He obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from LaSalle University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Shawn is a highly accomplished biotech/pharma executive with over 25 years of experience coaching and leading sales, marketing, trade, business development, and managed markets teams at Fortune 500 companies such as Bristol Myers Squibb, Sanofi, and Novo Nordisk, as well as building the successful biotech start-up INSYS Therapeutics Inc.
Shawn is an innovator, having developed one of the first direct-to-consumer TV campaigns for a prescription drug. He also built the first low cost commercial sales model for a specialty pharmaceutical company.
As importantly, he discovered through his leadership experience his passion for coaching and developing leaders, many of whom have since gone on to become directors, senior directors, VPs, SVPs, GMs, and presidents or owners of small companies. As a practicing Certified Executive Coach and Certified Professional Behavioral Analyst he has coached dozens of executives in helping them to achieve the “changes” they desire in work and in life.

Sharyn’s extensive Project Director expertise spans more than twenty years and has seen notable assignments in healthcare, agency operations, banking and manufacturing. She was also an integral part of the New Jersey Health Care Quality Institute: a public health advocacy coalition whose objective was to improve and standardize healthcare delivery practices state-wide.
Her well-tuned business acumen is complimented by proven skills in account management, strategic integration, budget management, channel coordination and logistics.
Sharyn’s role at Adherent Health as a Project Director serves as the vital link between establishing our strategic intent and providing quality, on-time deliverables.
Director, Network Solutions
Coming from a largely creative background, Katherin discovered a new passion for data while working as a project manager for a consumer-oriented market research panel company.
With a growing interest in technology solutions and the healthcare industry, Katherin moved into a project coordinator role at Epocrates, providing support to the client account, finance, and data teams.
She then found her niche at Adelphi Research as the senior operations specialist, where she oversaw day-to-day research logistics and spearheaded several long-term efficiency initiatives, including the design and construction of custom information-management tools.

Detlev Ansinn (“Det”) is a serial entrepreneur and digital team leader that has been developing software solutions for over 30 years. As an exciting and inspiring innovator, Det is often invited to speak and advise on topics including mobile technology, health, data security, quantified-self, government, and social media.
As Chief Technology Officer for Adherent Health, Det leads the strategic and technical development of Mobile Health Library, a leading HIPAA-compliant health outcomes support platform that helps patients better manage their education, medication adherence, medication access, medication affordability, and health outcomes reporting needs in coordination with their health professional. Det has been a primary contributor to the design and operation of the MHL system since 2012.

Rob is an entrepreneur, mobile health strategist, strategic problem solver, and a leader of cross-functional teams. With an early career as a pharmaceutical territory representative, research analyst, sales trainer, brand manager, and marketing director, Rob offers a rare industry perspective uniquely balanced between sales-marketing, professional-consumer, US-Global, and agency-client. Driven by a global passion for public health, and the need to significantly elevate patient understanding, medication “safe use”, and health outcomes, Rob founded Adherent Health, LLC and MHL (Mobile Health Library) in 2010. Mobile Health Library has grown to become the HIPAA- and regulatory-compliant app-based interactive communications platform that supports medication safe-use and outcomes attainment in the real world. Brand-specific and condition-specific, MHL Patient Support apps uniquely address the real-world needs of prescribers, patients, and caregivers, by delivering brand-based interactive patient engagement, complete with message reinforcement, economic incentives, and continuing medical instruction.
Prior to his founding Adherent Health and MHL, Rob led the planning, development, coordination, and expansion of DAS/Omnicom Group’s healthcare communications business, a market-leading worldwide operation supporting the market access, advocacy, brand development, and commercialization needs of the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and public health sectors. Reporting to the CEO of the Omnicom Group DAS division, Rob’s responsibilities as global president for healthcare included client development, global agency services coordination, client service model innovation, strategic partnerships, and agency acquisitions.
